ASD Alumna Wins International Podcasting Awards
Noor Azrieh, an alumna of the American School of Doha, has received international recognition at the Signal Awards, winning both the Silver Award and the Listener’s Choice Award in the Best Host (News & Politics) category.
The Signal Awards honor creators who elevate podcasting through originality, storytelling, and meaningful impact.
Currently based in Canada, Noor hosts and produces the Canadaland Politics podcast, renowned for its insightful analysis of current affairs and accessible approach to complex political topics. Winning two prestigious awards in such a competitive field is a remarkable achievement, showcasing Noor’s talent, vision, and ability to engage audiences on important global issues.
Notably, Noor was once voted “Most Likely to Have a Hit Podcast” by her university peers—a prediction that has now come true.
Congratulations, Noor! Your journey from classroom discussions to international recognition inspires us all. Your ASD family is immensely proud to celebrate this milestone with you!
