Growing Together, Learning Through Play
In Early Childhood, we create a nurturing environment where curiosity flourishes, imaginations ignite, and young learners embark on a joyful exploration of the world around them.
- Pre-K3 and Pre-K4 offer a play-based curriculum that promotes creativity and learning through hands-on exploration, guided activities, and strong family partnerships.
- In Kindergarten, the curriculum shifts to a standards-based model with focused literacy and math instruction that fosters independence and cross-disciplinary learning.
Welcome to Lower Elementary —
Where Learning is a
Joyful Adventure
Welcome to Lower Elementary School!
Whether you are already part of the ASD family or just beginning to learn about our school, we are pleased to introduce you to our Early Childhood program. The early years are a time of rapid growth, discovery, and wonder, and it is a privilege to partner with families as their children take these important first steps in learning.
Our approach in Early Childhood is centered on meaningful play and hands-on exploration. Children learn best when they are encouraged to ask questions, express their ideas, and engage with the world around them. Our educators thoughtfully design experiences that support each child’s individual interests, abilities, and developmental needs.
Creating a warm, safe, and encouraging environment is at the core of what we do. We want children to feel confident as they try new things, build relationships, and develop essential foundational skills. We believe that strong connections with families are key to this process. Whether you have been with ASD for years or are considering joining our community, we value your partnership and recognize the importance of effective communication in every child’s success.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to be part of your child’s early learning journey. We look forward to supporting them—and you—as they grow, explore, and flourish at ASD.
