Creating Stories Through Film
Our Film program in High School introduces students to all aspects of filmmaking, from story development and screenwriting to cinematography, camera operation, sound engineering, and editing. Learners work individually and collaboratively to plan, conceptualize, and produce a variety of creative projects, exploring genres such as documentaries, short films, and advertising. Post-production focuses on Adobe Premiere and After Effects, while students develop critical thinking, technical skills, and creative problem-solving, laying a foundation for advanced study in IB Film.
Exploring Film Production Roles
Students gain hands-on experience in diverse filmmaking roles while analyzing and contextualizing cinematic works. They collaborate on projects, produce original films, and study the artistic, cultural, and historical elements of cinema. Through practical exercises, workshops, and critical reflection, learners strengthen creativity, teamwork, and technical expertise. This program challenges students to innovate, think critically, and synthesize knowledge, preparing them for advanced courses such as IBDP Film SL/HL and real-world film production opportunities.
