Young Artists: Creative Start

The ES Visual Arts program offers an engaging curriculum designed to ignite creativity in young artists. Students explore a range of art techniques, styles, and mediums, providing a foundation for artistic expression. The curriculum is structured around four key areas: creating, presenting, responding, and connecting art to the surrounding world. Through hands-on exploration and guided instruction, students develop fundamental artistic skills, build confidence, and cultivate an enduring love and appreciation for art and its place in the world.

Techniques, Mediums, and Growth

Focused on skill development and exploration through structured activities, students are introduced to various mediums and art techniques, allowing them to experiment and express their unique creativity. Key program components involve creating original artwork, learning how to present their work, developing skills to respond to art, and understanding how art connects to global concepts. This range of engaging, hands-on activities, led by guided instruction, ensures young artists develop both ability and enthusiasm for the arts.
