Developing Creative Young Artists
Our Visual Arts Program nurtures creativity while building strong technical skills in drawing, painting, sculpting, and digital media. Students learn to express their ideas with confidence and deepen their cultural understanding through the study of global art and artists. Guided by the National Core Arts Standards, they create, present, respond, and connect, developing both artistic voice and critical thinking. Collaborative projects strengthen communication, helping students grow as expressive, culturally aware, and engaged young artists.
Celebrating Artful Connections
Visual Arts in Middle School proudly highlights student creativity through exhibitions featuring ceramics, paintings, drawings, digital art, and fused glass. These events bring families and the community together while giving students meaningful opportunities to share their work. Enrichment continues through participation in the Empty Bowls Event and The Memory Project, as well as annual international art trips where students explore global art and architecture (Barcelona 2024, Barcelona 2023, Prague Art Trip).
