ASD’s High School instrumental program challenges students to refine their skills through focused rehearsal and exceptional performance experiences. Wind Ensemble and Advanced Percussion Studies offer rigorous, performance-based learning that prepares musicians for prestigious events such as QMUN, AMIS, and the Honors Performance Series. Students may also pursue enrichment through private lessons or community ensembles. Those beginning their musical journey can join HS Instrumental Music to build foundational skills that support future ensemble participation and growth.

High School Music at ASD offers diverse pathways for every learner, from established musicians to first-time performers. Students explore Wind Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Treble Choir, Mixed Choir, Guitar, and Music Production while engaging in award-winning performances and creative collaborations. Through Tri-M, jazz ensembles, a cappella groups, digital music, and the annual fall musical, students develop leadership, artistry, and confidence.
