ASD Community Unites for a Successful Terry Fox Run

This year’s Terry Fox Run at the American School of Doha (ASD) achieved record-breaking success! The UES Student Council expressed immense gratitude for the support received from the community through T-shirt and bracelet purchases, donations, and participation in last Thursday’s event. The collective generosity and spirit showcased by everyone involved was exemplary.
This year, the total amount raised amounted to 22,856 QR, with contributions from:
Each riyal will go directly towards cancer research, upholding Terry Fox’s dream of finding a cure. The enthusiasm and kindness displayed by students, families, and ASD staff were truly inspiring.
Special appreciation is extended to Sara MacDonald and the UES Student Council for their dedication in organizing the event. This year, ASD had the honor of having Mr. Marim Morcos, the Canadian Ambassador of Qatar, join the event and kick off the run, making the occasion even more memorable.
